Since the day we’ve embarked on our journey, ‘making sense of the conversation’ has been our motto with a goal to provide NLP-based insights for every conversation.

One of the natural beneficiaries of our approach is the social and behavioural research community, given the limitations of current social platforms, such as restrictions when retrieving data or affordances that aren’t built in for robust research.

We’re thrilled to announce that our unique position in this regard has been recognised by SAGE Publishing and awarded a Concept Grant as one of the six game changing tools that will support research methods in the social sciences.

“When we launched the SAGE Concepts Grants program in 2018, we focused on funding tools that would help computational social scientists,” says Katie Metzler, Vice President of Books and Social Science Innovation at SAGE Publishing. “Now in its fourth year, the program has expanded to fund new tools that support the adoption, development, and application of established and emerging research methods. As the world’s leading research methods publisher, we are excited to broaden the scope of the Concept Grants to empower more social scientists to conduct impactful research.”

With the help of this grant, we will continue our product development and create a new method of qualitative research so that researchers can use Multytude’s conversation mechanics instead of online surveys, focus groups, etc. allowing them to gain unrestricted, collaborative feedback.

More importantly, partnering with SAGE and its network of academics will help us improve our conversation mechanics and analytical tools further for the community of researchers worldwide. We’re excited to see social scientists on Multytude and contribute to the literature of human behaviour in the years to come.
